Serge Kozlovsky, Minsk, Russia (Translated by Alexander Petrov)
What are you singing about, Divine voice of the Heavens? What times
would you like to revive in the memory? What makes you to come here
again? How could we meet with you, herald of the distant worlds?
Among the forests of the old England, almost on the shore of an
azure-blue sea is one hidden place. This is a glade, full of juicy
verdure, which is surrounded by a narrow line of beeches, their boughs
being grown together. If you would come to this glade in a special day,
which is only once a year, in a summer evening, when the rays of a
setting sun are hardly penetrating through a thick foliage of trees,
you can see a wonderful picture. There is a small camp fire in the
middle of the glade and its light elucidate graceful girls in purple
dresses being full of small lights. With a little swinging they are
dancing in a ring around the camp fire, lighting them a little bit, and
they are singing wonderful songs. Voices of these girls are
fascinatingly melodious, and their language is very harmonious, but you
can not understand a word. What is it? Maybe, a fairy-tale vision, or,
maybe the ancient elves, which dwelled here before the men came, have
returned here just for one night, to disappear in the morning, in a
magic dance, among the sky, gaining pink colour? These creatures are so
Divinely beautiful, that you are forgetting everything and looking on
their perfect faces, listening to their unearthly melodies, which take
you away, to some distant lands, where it is so nice to be, and where
the heart is striving so insistently, as if remembering something long
forgotten and incredibly beautiful...
Namely these pictures are borne through the music of the album "Fairy
Heart Magic" by Gary Stadler. This album deserved warm reviews from the
critics and fans, and has entered the Billboard's New Age Top 25. Its
soft gracefully-delicate keyboards without any effort are emphasizing
the beauty of enchanting-heavenly voice of Stephannie. And the Celtic
Harp of Lisa Lynne adds poetics and sensuality to the album's music,
and suddenly one can feel some ancient and surprisingly familiar winds,
which are blowing from the endless sea at the sunset, playing with slow
waves...
Most songs are performed by Stephannie on an unknown melodious
language, as if she revives the Celtic language, which was left only in
tales and legends. But this mysterious language is at the same time
close to us, because this is a voice of the heart which one can not
confuse with anything else. It contains a stormy passion and silent
love, radiant tenderness and piercing melancholy, true recollections
and fantastic dreams. This voice heals a soul, it brings peace and
hope. It has so much feminine love, the love, which has a care and
resolution to divide her destiny with a destiny of a beloved person.
Heavenly and earthly, man-like and angel-like have merged in this
music, and in this singing which you can not compare with anything
else.
And there are only the clinging bells and bright stars, shining high
above in the sky, being left there only to find sometime the heralds of
the stars, wandering among the far away worlds, and to go together with
them to the place, where a real life, full of love and creativity is
awaiting you...
All the rest is a dream...
Funny fantasies of the gods...
